Weight and Reseach Dock Inspector

We are seeking a positive-minded individual to join our team at the world's largest shipping and receiving company.

Job Duties

--Inspect freight to determine commodity based on National Motor Freight Classification descriptions.

--Proper protocol training will be provided onsite.

--Produce summary of workload, issues, and other activities in EXCEL spreadsheets and Lotus Notes databases.

--Will move boxes off of skids, open boxes, and conduct a visual inspection of contents.

--May utilize hand tools such as measuring tape, box cutters, electric screwdrivers, etc.

--Will reseal boxes after inspection and enter information into computer database..

Must be able to read and speak fluent English. Potential full-time opportunity .

EDUCATION: Some college required, may be current student or recent graduate.

EXPERIENCE: Warehouse and or dock experience required. Computer literate with some Excel experience.

Hours: May vary between 8p.m-8am
