3-6 Month Contract Opportunity
The Structural Analyst will perform varied/multiple technical assignments mainly in the area of structural analysis. Assignments are broad in nature, requiring originality and ingenuity in applying technical solutions. The Structural Analyst will apply and/or develop advanced technologies. The Structural Analyst must have a bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline. An appropriate MS degree may be substituted for experience. He/she should possess the following: • Broad engineering skills and abilities. • Concentrated experience and interest in structural analysis. • Clear understanding of engineering process. • Understands processes and products in multiple areas. He/she should also be able to: • Solve complex problems with little guidance. • Utilize new techniques often required in problem solutions. • Evaluate and recommend technical solutions based on standard or accepted technical practices. • Position requires good people skills and the ability to work effectively with other organizations and individuals at all levels. • A positive, can-do attitude is required. • Must work well as a member of a team. • Must adapt well to a changing environment.
• Due to government security clearance requirements, must be a US citizen or permanent resident to be eligible for hire. • BSME or higher degree 10 years minimum experience is required in the area of structural analysis using MSC/NASTRAN. An Aerospace or Civil Engineering degree will be considered with the appropriate experience. • 3 Years minimum experience using IDEAS or NX is required • Aerospace experience preferred.
