Technologist 5973

Performs tests and analyses according to established procedures in designated technical department. 

This position will perform complex chemical extractions on presumptive positive urine specimens to prepare for GC/MS testing.  Will also include training and maintaining current with the lab's SOPs.  This position is third shift with hours from 11pm - 7:30am Tuesday - Saturday 

REQUIREMENTS:

License/Certification/Education:

BA/BS degree in a hard science required

• 16 credit hours of chemistry,
• 16 credit hours of biology,
• 3 credit hours of math.

1. Medical Technologist Degree or equivalent
2. City/State licenses or permits to qualify as a Technologist
3. 1-3 years experience in a Clinical Laboratory.
4. PREVIOUS 3RD SHIFT EXPERIENCE
