(As Software QA Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of testers and developing processes to ensure delivery of high quality software applications. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, process oriented, an experienced manager excited about new product creation and developing robust QA processes and procedures.)

RESPONSIBILITIES:  Apply sound quality management methods, tools and techniques to create and support defect-free application software  Work with Product, Project and Development managers to define QA activities for project plans along with ensuring delivery schedules for testing activities  Review and approve test plans, test summary reports and deployment plans  Mentor and guide team to build industry best practices into QA/Test processes and artifacts  Act as "Voice of the Customer" when participating in product readiness reviews  Develop and maintain procedures and work instructions for departmental processes  Provide status reports and feedback to SQA Head for QA projects  Provide direct, day to day, management to 2 to 3 supervisor level direct reports and several individual contributors  Develop and track performance plans for each direct report

BS -- MS Degree in Computer Science or Related Field -- or Equivalent Experience 8-10 Years Software QA Experience 3 Years Management or Supervisor or Lead -- Reports Software Quality Engineering Formal Training. SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) Methodology Testing Methodology and Documentation Procedures QA (Quality Assurance) Best Practices IBM Mainframe Technology Required Experience Negotiation, Consensus and Team Building Skills Understanding and Implementation of Automated Test Processes
