Sr Mechanical Development Engineer

Develop and design complex vehicle components and systems.  Apply theoretical principles and engineering techniques in designing a vehicle that is reliable, serviceable, energy efficient, competitive and uses the latest technology available in the industry. Interface with engineering personnel to determine the most effective and economic materials to be used in product parts.  Interface with Test & Development personnel to analyze problems encountered in prototype development/testing.  Provide creative, technically feasible solutions. BSME degree OR an Associate's degree with 2 years of directly applicable design engineering experience is required.  Catia V5 experience is required. Proficiency in MS Office Suite required. Ability to interface with engineering personnel to determine the most effective and economic materials to be used in product parts is required.  Ability to interface with Test & Development personnel to analyze problems encountered in prototype development/testing is required.
