As a Guru you will be accountable for:

  • Managing electronic document filing and compliance registers for gifts, conflicts of interest, and legal training attendance.

  • Reporting on external legal fee expenditure and accruals, tracking payment of invoices, filing and retrieving documents to support payments, and monitoring expenditure against quotations from external providers.

  • Seeking quotations from vendors, onboarding selected vendors (e.g., law firms, company secretary firms, translators). Coordinating with internal authorized signatories for the execution of agreements.

  • Arranging translations of standard terms and conditions, templates, and other legal documents. Coordinating with other departments to ensure updates are hosted on the PropertyGuru websites or document repository.

  • Responding to internal requests for standard legal templates and documents.

  • Managing legal team initiatives on change management and compliance activities. Keeping lawyers on time, on budget, and on track with key deliverables.

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Exposure to and experience in a range of corporate and commercial matters. Prior experience in a legal administrative role or corporate secretarial work is highly desirable.

  • Understanding of legal documentation, corporate governance, and compliance matters. Familiarity with Southeast Asia legal and regulatory environments is an advantage.

  • Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Proactive, hard-working, and motivated individual with a collaborative and supportive approach. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
