Job Description Summary:Performs a variety of standardized noninvasive cardiovascular tests to include three specialties of these four: adult echocardiography, pediatric echocardiography and peripheral vascular studies of upper and lower extremities and carotid arteries. Assist Physician with ultrasound guided exams. Perform studies with accuracy and precision necessary to satisfy department standards and Physician interpreters while projecting a professional image , conserving hospital property and assets and meeting competency requirements. Provides direct patient care to all ages. Performs injection of bubble studies and ultrasound enhancement agents such as Optison, Definity and/or Lumason.

Work Experience 4 - 5 years Cardiovascular Ultrasound & nbsp (Required)
Licenses and Certifications Required Certifications/Licensures: Basic Life Support (BLS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) in Adult Echo or Pediatric Echo or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) & nbsp

ABLE TO PERFORM ADULT ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY/ VASCULAR ULTRASOUND EXAMS: Perform required exams without supervision that meet quality standards of the lab and interpreting physicians. Act as a resource in area of expertise. Provide leadership and training opportunities to department through department stand ups and on the job training. Adult Echo/ Pediatric Echo/ Adult Vascular Exams. TEE Echocardiography. Assist OR with ultrasound guided procedures. Perform Pediatric Echocardiography as required.
