The Bancassurance Associate is accountable for driving the sales of insurance products within the bank's branches. This role involves establishing and nurturing relationships with both bank personnel and customers to effectively generate life insurance leads. The associate will actively pursue sales targets, collaborate with bank staff to enhance performance, and support the seamless integration of insurance offerings into the bank’s services.
Principle Accountabilities: · Responsible for the closure of sales leads, including actively working on walk-in leads to maximize conversion rates. · Support Branch Managers in driving the life insurance business and achieving sales targets. · Share in-depth knowledge about life insurance products with bank staff to enhance their ability to generate leads. · Provide detailed data and insights on various sales parameters related to life insurance to Branch Managers for strategic decision-making. · Collaborate closely with the bank’s sales and service team to address customer-related inquiries and effectively service claims. · Establish and maintain positive relationships with prospects and existing clients to foster trust and encourage repeat business. · Actively participate in all joint promotional activities organized by the bank and the insurance company to boost visibility and engagement.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
· Any Graduate preferably in Business, Economics and Banking · Minimum 2 years of working experience in Banks, Insurance or any related industry in Sales · Good communication and interpersonal skill · Ability to liaise with clients and maintain strong and healthy relationship
