Sea Mar Behavioral Health's diverse and quickly expanding program isseeking a full-time therapist for its Vancouver - 65th St. BehavioralHealth Clinic. The Mental Health Therapist (MHT) provides individualand group counseling, case management, crisis stabilization, suiciderisk assessment, and treatment planning. In addition, he or she willprovide referrals and coordination with medication providers, primarycare physicians, and with other community agencies. Our therapistsmust have the ability to accurately diagnose mental health issues anddevelop treatment plans based upon diagnoses. Must be willing to worksome later hours (after 5pm) and providing services may requireoccasionally meeting with the client outside of the office and in thecommunity. We are a growing team with wide-ranging experience,educational backgrounds and degrees. We work closely with our medicalproviders to establish a whole €œhealth home€ for our clients. Thismakes for a rich clinical environment that is supportive andinvigorating. Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred, but notrequired. LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST: This individual provides diagnosticassessments, referrals for psychiatric services, and case managementin coordination with other teams or parties involved in treatment. The Licensed Mental Health Therapist is responsible for providing careto chronically ill patients, patients who are part of the Intensiveoutpatient program, or patients who are considered high utilizers. TheLicensed Mental Health Therapist is responsible for working withCDMHP's, inpatient facilities, including Western State Hospital, andensuring proper protocols are followed for hospitalizationauthorization and during discharge planning. In addition, the LicensedMental Health Therapist provides individual counseling, crisisstabilization, suicide risk assessment and treatment plans, and leadsgroups.  The Licensed Mental Health Therapist provides therapy tomanaged care patients that are pre-authorized to receive mental healthtreatment.  The Licensed Mental Health Therapist provides clinicalsupervision to other clinicians who are perusing the Licensingrequirements. The Licensed Mental Health Therapist assists the ProgramManager and clinical supervisor to conduct clinical chart reviews. Inaddition, this person supports the agency efforts to ensure compliancewith WACs, RCWs, and clinical contracts. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE FOR A LICENSED THERAPIST: * Must hold a Master's degree from an accredited college oruniversity in psychology, counseling, or social work which includescourse-work in psychological diagnostics. * Four or more years of clinical experience in the field. * Responsible for his/her individual continuing education hours andlicensing fees. The Licensed Mental Health provider must possess anactive, approved license from the Washington State Department ofHealth at all times. Must meet criteria of a Mental HealthProfessional (MHP). * Must hold and maintain an active Washington State Mental HealthCounselor License, Marriage and Family Therapist License, orIndependent Clinical Social Worker License.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: * This position must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90days of hire date and is required to maintain current BLS CPRthroughout employment. * Must take a TB test annually and at time of hire.MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST III: The Mental Health Therapist providesdiagnostic assessments, referrals for psychiatric services, casemanagement in coordination with other teams or parties involved intreatment.  In addition, the Mental Health Therapist providesindividual counseling, crisis stabilization, suicide risk assessmentand treatment plans, and leads groups.  Assistance to the ProgramManager in program development, policy and procedure development,compliance with WACs and RCWs, and other administrative tasksperformed are as directed. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE FOR MHT III: * Must hold a Master's degree from an accredited college oruniversity in psychology, counseling, or social work which includescourse-work in psychological diagnostics.  * Four or more years' experience in the field. Must meet criteriaof a Mental Health Professional (MHP). Must hold and maintain anactive Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor License (may bepending for up to 60 days if applied for within 7 days of beingoffered employment) or mental health Associate License (includesMarriage and Family Therapist, Mental Health Counselor, and ClinicalSocial Worker).ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: * Minority mental health therapist as required by WAC. * Must have and maintain a current TB test * This position must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90days of hire date and is required to maintain current BLS CPRthroughout employment.MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST II: The Mental Health Therapist providesdiagnostic assessments, referrals for psychiatric services, casemanagement in coordination with other teams or parties involved intreatment.  In addition, the Mental Health Therapist providesindividual counseling, crisis stabilization, suicide risk assessmentand treatment plans, and leads groups.  Assistance to the Director inprogram development, policy and procedure development, compliance withWACS and RCWS, and other administrative tasks performed are asdirected.  EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE FOR MHT II: * Must hold a Master's degree from an accredited college oruniversity in psychology, counseling, or social work which includescourse-work in psychological diagnostics.  * Up to three (3) years' experience in the field. * Minority mental health therapist as required by WAC. * Must meet criteria of a Mental Health Professional (MHP). Must holdand maintain an active Washington State Agency Affiliated CounselorLicense (may be pending for up to 60 days if applied for within 7 daysof being offered employment) or mental health Associate License(includes Marriage and Family Therapist, Mental Health Counselor, andClinical Social Worker).ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: * Must have and maintain a current TB test. * This position must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90days of hire date and is required to maintain current BLS CPRthroughout employment.Hourly - Hourly Plan, 0.00 USD Hourly
