Job description

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Maintains existing sales accounts and assists the department in forecasting and achieving the

sales budget.

2. Maximizes effort in developing new accounts and target markets in assigned Key Accounts in

Home Centers and other Key Accounts of Retail Distribution business unit through product

presentations, seminars and trial mixes to clients.

3. Ensures customer satisfaction by regular sales calls, providing the right products at the right time and

quantity and by attending to customer inquiries/complaints/problems.

4. Conducts Monthly Business Reviews with Key Accounts and Weekly Check Point Meeting with

assigned merchandisers.

5. Regularly do Retail Coverage to get market info, competition’s activities & promotions.

6. Analyzes market information and prepares strategies, plans and sales forecasts.

7. Ensures that all assigned accounts are secured with proper credit recommendations; gives price

quotations according to the given range/limit.

8. Monitors the flow of sales operations in every customer – from sales ordering to delivery.

9. Takes charge of the collection of receivables and counter receipt of sales invoices and delivery

receipts.

10. Responsible to monitor Sika products placement, price, merchandising guidelines are effectively

executed. Ensures efficient inventory management and proper storage of Sika products.

11. Adheres to the SPI established Quality and Environmental Management Systems and Quality

Policy.

12. Actively participates in all SPI projects regarding quality and the environment and fully supports

and acts in accordance with the company policy.

13. Comply with necessary ISO procedures in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and

ISO 45001:2018.

14. Ensures that the Quality and Environmental Management System is understood.

15. Ensures that all operating standards are adheres at all times.

16. Strictly complies with company policies, systems and procedures, work rules and regulations.

17. Performs other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by the immediate superior.

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Graduate of B.S. Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Architecture or any four (4) year related course.

Work Experience:

  • With at least three (3) to five (5) years of working experience in construction or distribution industry. Experience working in a multinational company is an advantage. Experience in Key Accounts Management in Modern Trade/Home Centers such as Wilcon Home Depot, CW Home Depot, Ace Hardware, True Value, etc.

Skills:

  • Preferably with technical selling experience and driving skills (with valid professional driver’s license). Possesses a strong people skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills.
