Senior Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Participate in marketing and business development of new opportunities. 
• Responsible for working on multidisciplinary strategic planning and economic advisory projects, covering areas such as regional development strategy, master planning, mixed-use development, industrial planning, cultural and tourism planning, feasibility analysis, and sustainability consulting.
• Have econometric capabilities, an understanding of regional markets, familiarity with forecasting, and the ability of data analysis. 
• Research local and regional economic issues and provide consultation regarding the development of dynamic regional and local economies, as well as urban and rural regeneration. 
• May draft and prepare reports based on project outcomes. 
• Highly experienced professional with ability of large and complex projects management and could possess full technical control over projects. 
• May supervise the work of others and conduct performance evaluations. 

Requirements:

• Master Degree in economics, finance, geography, social science, or related fields.
• Generally requires 7+ years related experience in a comparable position.
• Prior consulting experience strongly preferred, but non-consultant candidates with relevant experience will be considered. 
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
• Good writing and oral communication skills both in English and Mandarin.
• Good numeracy skills and experience with socioeconomic data analysis.
• Solid experience of report writing and related experience in project management.
• A strong sense of commitment, a willingness to work in a dynamic, deadline driven team environment.
• Relevant experience working in a sustainable or economic development environment would be advantageous.
