Job Description:

Primary Language is Java, other languages also prefferred, Spring, Cloud, Docker and Container experience is required.

Skills

Building Services, ideally robust services
Don’t use SOAP or Rest, usually Git request with everything on URL utilizing HLS
Java Stack, Spring
AWS would be helpful for Infrastructure and deployment, be familiar with how it works
Some testing responsibilities. Work with Product owner to help define specs
Not using Databases, but could be useful experience
Containerizing in Docker, deploying on kubernetes- plus
Building high performance systems. Ability to identify bottlenecks
Know how to optimize experience and performance
Video and/or Advertising experience could be a plus
60% coding, 20% testing/automation, 20% helping with infrastructure

Two hour slot. First half hour is phone screen. If goes well will continue into more coding discussion and technical interview.

Details of the Project

Help building new features, Server side ad insertion product
Both live and VOD streams, Team is also responsible for Front End reflector service
Decide if you can or cannot watch certain content
Work together to deliver end user video performance
Immense scale, 1000 trans per second, One million concurrent users
