Job description
The Web Developer is a hands-on professional with strong knowledge of both front-end and back-end development languages, and an ability to translate our business needs into client-friendly functions that will expand our website’s influence in our industry. The Web Developer will be responsible for updating our DTLR, e-commerce web site, developing and maintaining internal company applications, as well as implementing usability testing processes to ensure that new applications meet our company’s requirements.
Duties/Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain ecommerce web site, and emails.
• Extend and optimize Web functionality, user interface, and navigation.
• Integrate ecommerce web site with 3rd party applications and interfaces.
• Create solutions and implement internal software projects based on end user and department requirements.
• Work with our creative team to scope and develop projects based off of adobe designs to maintain e-commerce web site’s front-end theme.
• Work with our marketing team to promote discounts and events and assist them in creating analytics and events.
• Independently scope work and complete objectives.
• Stay up-to-date on technology.
Technical Requirements
• Knowledge of the Shopify Platform, Themes, Discounts, CLI, Plugins, Sales Channels
• HTML, CSS, Javascript
• Liquid, SCSS, jQuery
• Git or other version control
• Jira or other ticketing software
• Familiarity with adobe products like Illustrator, Photoshop, or XD
• Experience using 3rd party REST APIs
• Knowledge of ADA compliance
• Experience implementing responsive designs across all devices
Technical Preferred Skills
• Ecommerce experience
• Shopify GraphQL
• Shopify app development Remix, Polaris, React, Preact, Rust
• Claude or other AI Platform
• Klaviyo or other marketing apps
• SEO Optimization
• Google Analytics
• Agentic Commerce
• MYSQL or other database experience

Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree (Computer Science) or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years Web development experience

Pay range: $90,000-110,000 based on experience. All roles are eligible for the company 401K plan. Full time roles will be eligible for medical, dental, vision, sick leave, parental leave, and company-paid time off.
