Get to Know Your Team: Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU. Responsibilities The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for scheduling patients on behalf of the MPV New Jersey MD Services, P.C. This includes the planning and scheduling of resources for diagnostic, medical, and procedural visits. Along with scheduling, the Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for the pre-registration and clearance of these patients prior to service. Qualifications Job Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Higher education may be substituted for experience. Ability to multitask, can work in a fast-paced clinical environment, can engage patients, peers, and supervisors in a dedicated, comforting, respectful, and effective way, and can adapt to change Preferred Job Requirements: 3-5 years of medical office practice experience. Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
