NHS Band 5 Salary: £32,073 to £39,043 per annum
Hours Per Week: 37.5 Full Time
Contract Type: Permanent

Are you looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience in computer systems administration, data analysis, and creation of reports and spreadsheets? Do you have excellent communication and administration skills? Would you like to play a key role in the management and application of our Risk Management and Incident reporting system? If so, we are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to join our Risk Management Team.
Your role will be to ensure both Trusts meet their legal and regulatory obligations associated with risk and to ensure that there are robust arrangements in place to continue to be well led organisations.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
Key responsibilities will involve, day to day administration of the Trust Risk Management and Incident reporting system including:
- Providing expertise regarding the management and application of the risk management and incident reporting system.
- Continuing to enhance the on-line reporting function by design and build of the system.
- Supporting and undertaking duties associated with maintenance of the quality and content of data held in all modules and undertaking regular auditing.
- Maintaining oversight and management of the external incident process.
- Training staff at all levels across the organisation on the use of the risk management and incident reporting system.
- Undertaking reviews and implementing upgrades across all modules within the system.

Essential:
- Degree level (or equivalent)
- Information Technology qualification or demonstrable experience.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent experience)
Experience:
Essential:
- Evidence of significant experience in system administration
- Advanced skills for keyboard use for producing reports, spreadsheets and correspondence.
- Excellent verbal, telephone and written communication skills.
- Ability to use own initiative and deal with competing priorities.
- Works autonomously but can seek advice when necessary/manages a discrete area of work.
Knowledge:
Essential:
- Knowledge of data analysis and associated software/computer systems acquired through diploma or equivalent experience/qualification.
- IT experience preferably in the use of Risk Systems and Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of risk and application to everyday practice.
