Overview GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking a Business Analyst to support structured documentation, requirements management, and project governance initiatives in a collaborative environment. This role focuses on ensuring clarity, traceability, and alignment across business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle. As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business needs while producing high-quality project artifacts that support transparency, traceability, and successful solution delivery. You will work closely with stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined, documented, and aligned with business objectives. Responsibilities Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams. Develop Statements of Work (SOW), project charters, and other scope-defining documentation. Produce structured requirements artifacts including business requirements documents, use cases, and functional specifications. Maintain requirements traceability to ensure alignment between business needs, solution design, testing, and delivered functionality. Document current-state and future-state business processes using workflow diagrams and process documentation. Develop acceptance criteria and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) documentation to validate solution outcomes. Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure documentation accuracy and completeness. Prepare and maintain project artifacts including meeting summaries, decision logs, and stakeholder communications. Maintain organized documentation repositories to support transparency, knowledge management, and audit readiness. Minimum Qualifications Proven experience as a Business Analyst supporting project documentation and requirements management. Strong ability to elicit, analyze, and translate business needs into clear, structured documentation. Experience developing SOWs, project charters, and formal requirements artifacts. Demonstrated experience with requirements traceability and alignment across project phases. Experience documenting business processes and workflows (current-state and future-state). Familiarity with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes and documentation. Strong communication and collaboration skills across business and technical teams. Experience working within formal project governance frameworks or PMO environments. Familiarity with documentation and collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint, Jira). Experience supporting audit readiness and maintaining structured documentation repositories. Exposure to Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
