Job description
We are looking for a Database Administrator to join Sopra Steria Polska for a team that works for a client from the public sector in France.
Responsibilities:
- Database management and administration, primarily Oracle and PostgreSQL
- Working also with SQL Server and MySQL databases
- Handling incidents (operational work without predefined procedures)
- Executing MEPs (tasks performed in accordance with defined procedures)
- Day-to-day work in a maintenance/support environment (no organisational changes within the team)
Must have requirements:
- Experience or basic knowledge in the area of databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL)
- French B2 level
- Knowledge of the VTOM tool is a plus
- IE or JIE profile
- Willingness to learn and grow in the area of database administration
- Readiness to work with different types of tickets (incidents + procedure-based tasks)
