Job description
Drive Territory Growth: Develop and execute state-level sales strategies for the endoscopy portfolio to consistently achieve revenue targets and expand market share through direct sales and effective dealer/distributor management.
Profitability Management: Own regional profitability by closely monitoring Gross Margin Relative Index (GMRI) and implementing corrective actions to improve margins.
Strategic Collaboration: Partner effectively with internal stakeholders including Marketing, Service, Finance, Supply Chain, and Commercial Excellence teams to deliver business objectives.
Product Launch Excellence: Lead and execute endoscopy product launches, ensuring successful adoption through surgeon engagement, dealer readiness, and field execution excellence.
Territory & Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth territory analysis to identify growth opportunities, key accounts, competitive dynamics, and pipeline development.
Key Account & Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), surgeons, hospitals, and channel partners to accelerate adoption of endoscopy solutions.
Value-Based Selling & Negotiation: Deliver customer-centric solutions by leading complex negotiations, closing large deals, and ensuring superior customer experience.
Competitive Intelligence: Track, analyze, and report competitive activities, pricing movements, and market trends to support strategic decision-making.
Sales Planning & Forecasting: Develop and manage annual sales plans, dealer strategies, demand forecasts, and budgets to ensure achievement of yearly business objectives.
People Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and develop the sales team; conduct capability building, performance reviews, and succession planning to build a high-performing endoscopy team.
Operational Excellence & Compliance: Drive process optimisation across billing, inventory, shipments, and dealer operations; ensure strict adherence to compliance, ethics, and organizational processes while exemplifying company values.
What you need:
Educational Background: Graduate/Post-graduate degree; MBA or equivalent business qualification preferred.
Relevant Experience: 10–15 years of successful sales and marketing experience, preferably in medical devices or capital equipment; endoscopy experience strongly preferred.
People Management: Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience leading, coaching, and managing high-performing sales teams.
Sales Leadership Expertise: Strong track record in territory management, channel/dealer management, key account management, and strategic selling.
