Job description
- Lead aquatic classes, ensuring safety and enjoyment for participants.
- Design, plan, and implement fitness and well-being programs tailored to the needs and preferences of senior residents.
- Conduct exercise classes, including but not limited to strength training, balance exercises, aerobics, yoga, and other forms of physical activity suitable for seniors.
Hours and Compensation:
馃専Full-Time Position
鈴癏ours: M-F 7:30am-4:00pm
馃挵Pay: $20.50/hour
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate or bachelor鈥檚 degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Physical Therapy, or a related field, or credit hours toward a degree preferred. Relevant certifications or specialized training in senior fitness is highly desirable.
- Lifeguarding, CPR and First Aid certification-OR willing to get certified.
- Proven experience in leading exercise classes, particularly in a senior living community or related setting preffered
