Job Summary
This role is for a Finance Planner - Sales Performance & Planning, responsible for driving financial performance visibility, enabling strategic decision-making through analytics, and supporting business units with forecasting, reporting, and process optimization.
Roles & Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for preparing monthly sales reports and comprehensive MIS statements, including P&L, operating expense (OE) analysis, and variance analysis, while discussing key variances with stakeholders for accurate interpretation.
- You will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust sales and throughput database to support financial performance tracking and business insights generation.
- You will be responsible for creating impactful presentations for monthly and business review meetings, providing detailed analysis of performance drivers to aid strategic decision-making.
- You will be responsible for conducting analytical reviews of sales under both IGAAP and IFRS frameworks, including top-product performance, QoQ variance analysis, and collaboration with front-end teams for business rationale.
- You will be responsible for consolidating and analyzing sales data to support variance and growth analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams (CFTs) during annual budget preparation.
- You will be responsible for preparing monthly Latest Estimates (LE) by integrating real-time market and business developments to improve forecasting accuracy and agility.
- You will be responsible for performing regular peer benchmarking—both internal and external—to assess performance in the context of competitors and industry trends.
- You will be responsible for executing finance automation and simplification projects within the business unit, while also delivering ad hoc analytics to support targeted profit initiatives.
Educational qualification: Bachelors' degree in Finance, Accounting, economics, or a related field is mandatory. Postgraduate in Finance, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
Professional certifications such as Cost and Management Accountants (CMA), Certified Public Accountants (CPA), or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) or equivalent is preferred.

Critical exposures
• Exposure to 1 complete cycle of financial forecasting, and budgeting exercise for the organization is preferred
• Experience in financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis and scenario analysis is desired
• Experience in preparing MIS, Sales reporting, financial performance and key financial metrics is desired
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Financial Planning and Analysis or Controlling or Accounting functions is preferred
