Location: 66 Forrest Street, Mount Lawley, WA 6050
Centre Capacity: 45 places
Hourly Rate: $43.73 – $60.50
Are you a passionate Early Childhood Teacher looking to work in a unique, nature-based environment with a strong focus on play-based learning and child development?
Busy Bees at Mt Lawley South is a 45-place service that welcomes you with beautifully designed rooms, plenty of natural resources and exciting learning opportunities. They are a small, family-oriented day care with a home-like environment, nestled away on leafy Forrest St in a quiet residential neighbourhood.
About the Role
As the Early Childhood Teacher, you will:
Deliver a high-quality program for children
Plan and implement engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with the EYLF
Support children’s school readiness, social-emotional development, and independence
Build strong relationships with families, children, and the wider community
Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment
Maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and NQS
What You’ll Need
Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
Current Teacher Registration in WA (as per ACECQA requirements)
Proven experience working with children aged 3–5 years in a long day care or kindergarten setting
Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
Current Working with Children Check (Employee) – WA requirement
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificates (or willingness to obtain)
Excellent communication and leadership skills
