Job description

Interact is a leading provider of allied health, occupational health and safety, and injury management services to the regions of New South Wales. The role:

  • Case management for injured workers in the western suburbs who are needing physical and/or psychological support to return them back to employment
  • Taking a more holistic care approach, establish key relationships with health professionals and work within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing
  • Perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise. This could include functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments
  • Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, including the injured employee, employer, medical specialists and other allied health professionals to develop, implement and monitor rehabilitation plans.
  • Support large government employers and employees through our existing clients and growing relationships with organisations such as Allianz TMF (Department of Education, Department of Communities and Justice, Transport NSW) and GIO.

What will make you successful:

  • Current unrestricted (or eligibility for) registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA)
  • Ideally Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy (Exercise Physiologists and Phyisotherapists will also be considered)
  • Strong clinical reasoning
  • Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal
  • Passion to help people rehabilitate
