Software Engineer

HAPO is now accepting applications for a Software Engineer in Richland, WA. Software Engineers are responsible for all in‑house application development and for supporting the setup and integration of third‑party solutions for the credit union. This role owns the full solution lifecycle, including design, development, unit testing, and documentation. All work is performed using Agile development methodology, and engineers are expected to actively follow and support Agile best practices. Successful candidates will have a broad understanding of credit union operations and products, as well as how those products integrate with HAPO’s information systems. This role also requires a solid understanding of how software and hardware systems interact to support reliable, secure operations.
