Detail Designer III, Structural

The Structural Detail Designer is responsible for 3D modeling and producing adequate Production Drawings to support production design at Vancouver Shipyards (VSY) in North Vancouver. The Structural Detail Designer will ensure that Detail Design 3D Model and Production Drawings are generated and in accordance with VSY's standards, quality, and engineering processes. This role will be responsible for 3D modeling, production design, drawing generation and implementation of lessons learned. Incumbent will also be responsible for actively engaging in 3D Model and Drawing Reviews. These responsibilities ensure that the goals and objectives of the Structural Detail Design Department are accomplished within the prescribed plans, schedules, and budgets.
