Procedural Scheduler - Pre Admit

The Spec-Surgery Scheduling is accountable for scheduling various complex Surgical and Medical procedures by obtaining appropriate surgical procedure, specialized equipment, and other specialized resources, implants and current/historical medical information (i.e., ICD10 Coding, Medical History, including allergies and Patient Demographic Profile). Complexity of this position is evidenced by the use of simple and complex medical terminology and enterprise scheduling protocols. Surgical Scheduling Specialist must also think independently and make relatively complex decisions in a fast-paced environment. Provides superior customer service and service recovery, utilizing good judgment that meets or exceeds the expectations of patients, visitors, physicians and Providence Health System staff.
