ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Data Engineer at Brandlight, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing, building, and scaling the data infrastructure that powers AI-driven brand perception insights.

This is a role for someone that can collaborate closely with platform and AI research teams to ensure robust, performant, and reliable pipelines and systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and maintain large-scale end-to-end data pipelines for platform and research needs
• Design data models optimized for analytics and ML training and inference
• Own the full data lifecycle with strong monitoring, validation, and reliability
• Optimize queries, storage, partitioning, and indexing for performance and cost
• Manage and scale BigQuery workloads and orchestrate pipelines with Airflow

REQUIREMENTS

• B.Sc http://B.Sc degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
• 6+ years of hands-on industry experience as data or backend engineer
• Excellent SW engineering skills, proficient python developer
• Excellent SQL skills, including query optimization
• Experience with big data frameworks
• Experience with BigQuery & Airflow a big advantage
• Experience working with LLMs, Vector DBs and ML knowledge a big advantage
• Ability and desire to work in a fast paced, demanding and sometimes ambiguous environment
