Speech-Language Pathologist - Clinical Fellow at Metro Physical Therapy (Homecare-Central LI) Full Time w/ Benefits!

What we are looking for: Metro's Speech Department continues to grow and we are looking for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to service patients in their homes in Eastern Nassau & Western Suffolk County.  Strong Clinical Fellow applicants with experience in treating adults and dysphagia are encouraged to apply.  Caseload demographics include: Aphasia, Dysphagia, School-Age (optional), Voice, Cognitive Communication Disorders, AAC use, progressive neurological conditions, etc.

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York or eligible for CF
• Evaluates a patient's need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.
• Instructs family members, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP
• Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications (live course)
