Job description
Join a leading aviation maintenance team supporting business jet programs in Windsor Locks, Connecticut.
This role focuses on aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, repair, and modification of Global and Challenger business jets within a high-performance corporate aviation environment.
You will play a key role in ensuring airworthiness, safety, and reliability of advanced business aircraft.
- Perform aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations
- Diagnose and correct mechanical and electrical system issues on aircraft
- Complete scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks per technical manuals
- Perform component removal, installation, and system repairs
- Assist with engine removal/installation, fueling, and ground support operations
- Document all maintenance work in compliance with FAA and company procedures
- Ensure compliance with all safety and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards
- Operate ground support equipment and industrial vehicles as required
- Participate in 5S workplace organization and cleanliness initiatives
- Provide off-site maintenance support when required
- Work collaboratively with maintenance teams to ensure aircraft readiness
- Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License required
- Minimum 3 years of corporate aviation experience, preferably on Bombardier or Gulfstream aircraft
- Strong experience in aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings and maintenance manuals
- Must own and maintain basic hand tools with proper inventory control
- Ability to obtain required Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and flexible schedules as required
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic computer skills required
- Ability to obtain SIDA badge if applicable
- Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
