Job description
Join a leading aviation maintenance team supporting business jet programs in Wichita, KS.
We are seeking an experienced Engine Technician / Powerplant Technician / Aircraft Engine Mechanic to perform maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and testing of aircraft engines and APU systems on Global and Challenger business aircraft.
This role supports a high-performance business aviation environment, ensuring engine reliability, performance, and safety on advanced corporate jet platforms.
- Perform inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of aircraft engines and APU systems
- Inspect engines, APUs, and related components in accordance with maintenance manuals and regulatory standards
- Assist with engine and APU removal, installation, and modification activities
- Perform and document maintenance tasks in compliance with FAA and company procedures
- Support engine run operations and functional testing of propulsion systems
- Assist with off-aircraft component repair and maintenance activities
- Operate ground support equipment and industrial vehicles (forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Participate in 5S and workplace organization initiatives
- Perform work safely, accurately, and within required timelines
- Communicate effectively in both written and verbal English
- Valid FAA Powerplant License required
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Engine Technician, Powerplant Technician, or Aircraft Engine Mechanic
- Strong experience in aircraft engine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
- Experience with business jets or turbine engines preferred
- Must own and maintain hand tools with verified tool control and inventory system
- Ability to operate ground support and industrial equipment
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and flexible shifts as required
- Basic computer skills required
