SUMMARY
The Release and Deployment Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating and executing software and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Releases and deployments in IT Solutions instances pipeline from development to Production. This role ensures Releases are delivered on time with quality and without unplanned services disruptions for Business Operations, while aligning with security and operational standards – in particular ITIL Change Management norms. The coordinator acts as a pivot between development, testing, automation, infrastructure, security teams and Business stakeholders.
This role requires natural leadership, analytical and troubleshooting skills, and strong personal organisation to drive complex projects efficiently, along with a capacity to discuss with technical, functional and business stakeholders.
We seek a professional with at least 8-10 years of experience in release and deployment management fields, with exposure to:
- Platforms: Windows, Linux
- Database: MSSQL, PostGreSQL, Oracle
- ITSM Tool: ServiceNow, BMC Helix, JIRA
- Cloud: Microsoft Azure
- CI/CD Tools: Azure Pipelines, Octopus Deploy, Terraform Cloud
- Monitoring/Alerting: Grafana
The candidate may not be fully proficient in every technology mentioned above, but must show a fair technological culture and have appetite for learning more to accelerate technical projects implementation and troubleshooting. The Release and Deployment Coordinator will work with DevOps engineers, but his/her key responsibility will be to maintain technical configurations in the deployment tool and trigger deployments in non-Production instances.
The candidate will work in a fast growing context (several hundreds or IT Solutions instances to maintain with latest version of software and IaC). Continuous improvement mindset and proven track record for cost and performance optimisation in deployment processes and tooling are mandatory.
Working hours:
Monday to Friday - 08:00 to 17:00 Hybrid Work
