Custodian

Hours: Monday - Friday 11am-7pm

The ideal candidate for a Custodian would be able to do the following:

•  Manage time effectively to assure daily custodial and housekeeping tasks are maintained daily.
• Monitor and manage inventory and supplies necessary to perform daily tasks and upkeep.
• Communicate professionally with staff as needed with the ability to stay on task
• Cleaning of floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Gathering and emptying trash and replace trash bags
• Cleaning and stocking restrooms, breakrooms, and other areas
•  Dusting furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
• Polishing windows and other surfaces as assigned
• Disposal and lifting of trash and recycled materials into receptacles.
• Cleaning, mopping and or scrubbing of, large areas, aisle ways and or hallways

For a candidate to be successful as a Custodian they must have:

 

• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience as a custodian in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to bend, stoop, stand, walk, reach, and climb for an extended period of time.
• Ability to lift 10 lbs. on a continuous basis and occasionally up to 20 lbs. unassisted.
• Safely use chemical cleaners and or disinfectants utilizing any PPE necessary
• Ability to operator floor scrubber as well as general cleaning equipment, vacuum, mop, squeegee, etc…
