Explore. in the gateway to Glacier National Park! Job Summary: Oversee and coordinate the daily operations, training, and motivation of our housekeeping and laundry staff. The successful candidate will ensure that our facility is clean and well maintained, and that all guests receive the highest quality of service. The Details: Position Type: Full-time, Year-Round Start Date: Immediately Pay: $19.45/hr + tips Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/week. Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends, and holidays. H ours may be limited during shoulder season. Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping and laundry teams, including scheduling, work assignments, and shift coverage. Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and stocking meet company standards. Perform room cleaning, public-area cleaning, and laundry processing as needed to support daily operations. Ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation, and chemical-handling procedures. Report unusual guest conduct to the Location Manager or Manager on Duty. Ensure that Lost & Found and key security procedures are followed. Coach and develop staff through ongoing feedback and training; partner with the Location Manager on performance documentation, reviews, and corrective action as needed. Manage supply and linen inventories, including tracking usage and ensuring items are reordered and stocked as needed. Coordinate and assist with periodic deep cleaning and preventative maintenance projects. Respond to guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally; communicate with the Location Manager and department supervisors to ensure timely resolution. Complete required training and certifications; cross-train in other departments as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned by the Location Manager. Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Working knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and chemical use (Ecolab experience preferred). Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead, prioritize tasks, and monitor team performance to ensure quality and efficiency. Effective communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and as part of a team. Customer-focused mindset with a friendly, professional approach when interacting with guests and coworkers. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office. Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest service. Experience: 1+ year of supervisory experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or a related field preferred Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Supervisory Responsibility: Supervising Housekeeping team. Physical Requirements include: Lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Frequent lifting and carrying of supplies and linens sporadically throughout the day. Push and pull a hotel or laundry cart up to 75 pounds as needed. Frequent bending, kneeling, stretching, and reaching while making beds and cleaning rooms. Stand and walk for extended periods, including stairs and occasional outdoor areas.
