Overview Carpenter Location: St. Francis Hospital – A Member of Catholic Health Join the team that keeps St. Francis Hospital operating safely and efficiently. As a Carpenter, you will play an essential role in maintaining, repairing, and improving the hospital’s physical environment—ensuring a safe, functional, and welcoming space for patients, staff, and visitors. Job Details Key Responsibilities Perform carpentry work including installation, repair, and maintenance of walls, doors, ceilings, flooring, cabinetry, and fixtures Repair and replace drywall, partitions, doors, locks, and hardware as needed Construct and modify structures in clinical, office, and public areas according to specifications Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and work orders to complete projects accurately Ensure all work complies with safety codes, hospital standards, and regulatory requirements Coordinate with Plant Operations and other departments to complete projects efficiently Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition Document completed work and report major repair needs to the Plant Operations Foreman Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Minimum of 5 years of carpentry experience (healthcare or commercial setting preferred) Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship Strong communication and documentation skills Why Join Us Competitive pay, including shift differentials Flexible scheduling options Supportive, team-oriented work environment Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Be part of something meaningful. The range listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
