Job description

Overview The Associate Project Manager (APM) position is responsible for supporting the Susquehanna real estate capital projects team in the day-to-day execution of project management responsibilities throughout the company’s global real estate portfolio. The APM is actively engaged in the project management function & works in conjunction with the project management and Controls team to execute on the objectives of their project assignments. In this role, you will: Engage with internal and external project management team members to support execution and assist across all phases of the capital project lifecycle (planning through closeout). Maintain and distribute reports, schedules, budgets, meeting minutes, and other project deliverables as assigned by the project team. Support cost tracking and reporting throughout all project phases. Assist in procurement coordination (i.e., RFP issuance; bid leveling; vendor tracking). Complete assigned deliverables in a timely, efficient, and effective manner. Demonstrate an informed awareness and understanding of project scope, goals, requirements, and overall deliverable delivery expectations. Track project progress against schedule; follow up on open items to support timely execution. Maintain organized project files and documentation for team access and reference. Support preparation of project updates, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders. Identify and escalate risks, issues, or changes impacting scope, schedule, or cost. Support review and coordination of deliverables from consultants, contractors, and vendors. Gather and provide information for use by the project team. Engage in regular communication with the project team and confirm expectations remain aligned. Coordinate, communicate, and collaborate with vendors, consultants, clients, and other external project stakeholders as needed. Ensure consistent performance of the vendor team through the regular review and maintenance of key deliverables and reports, and document progress regularly. Monitor design, construction, and overall execution of the project, collecting, organizing, and reviewing key project documentation from key vendors and stakeholders regularly. Coordinate, attend, and actively participate in project meetings as appropriate. What we're looking for Bachelor’s degree required. At least 2 years of experience supporting cross-functional project management teams. Well-developed time management & prioritization skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated professional with the ability to work effectively well both collaboratively and independently. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage and present project information accurately. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Excel; MS Word; MS PowerPoint); working knowledge of Smartsheet is a plus. Experience in or knowledge of commercial real estate industry is strongly preferred. Experience as an owner's-side project manager, coordinator, or support team member is a plus #RH1 Bachelor's degree required.
