Job description
Overview The Training Specialist supports the design, development, and delivery of learning experiences that enable BISSELL Associates to successfully adopt new ways of working. This role plays a key part in organizational change efforts, partnering with subject matter experts to translate business initiatives and playbooks into clear, engaging, and actionable learning. This individual will balance facilitation, content creation, and change support while helping scale learning across the organization. Responsibilities Organizational Change Management Support Support the development and execution of learning strategies tied to organizational change initiatives Partner with stakeholders to translate change impacts into clear training and communication plans Create tools and resources that reinforce adoption, including job aids, talking points, and reinforcement materials Help build awareness and capability around change management practices across BISSELL Training Delivery and Facilitation Facilitate engaging instructor-led and virtual training sessions for Associates at various levels Support the rollout of enterprise playbooks through structured and practical learning experiences Partner with leaders and teams to ensure training is relevant, interactive, and aligned to business needs Provide facilitation support for leadership programs and core learning experiences Content Creation and Instructional Design Partner with subject matter experts to design and develop learning materials that translate complex topics into simple, actionable content Create high-quality deliverables including presentations, facilitator guides, eLearning modules, videos, and job aids Apply adult learning principles to ensure content is engaging, practical, and scalable Continuously improve content based on feedback, participation, and business outcomes Program and Project Support Support planning and execution of talent development programs and key initiatives Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication across projects Assist in scaling learning solutions to reach global Associate populations Learning Operations and Measurement Support Learning Management System administration including course setup, tracking, and reporting Monitor participation and engagement data to identify opportunities for improvement Gather feedback and insights to strengthen learning effectiveness and adoption Qualifications REQUIRED COMPETENCIES Instructional design and content development expertise Collaboration and stakeholder partnership Demonstrated understanding of how learning supports productivity, adoption, and behavior change Adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment Continuous improvement mindset Capability of executing programs that lead to Associates being prepared and confident in adopting new processes and playbooks Adept at supporting change initiatives with strong learning and reinforcement strategies Capability to execute programs smoothly with strong stakeholder alignment Applies adult learning principles to accommodate different learning styles, experience levels, and job contexts Designs learning experiences that prioritize practical application and on‑the‑job transfer Creates psychologically safe, inclusive learning environments Adjusts facilitation style in real time based on audience engagement and needs Demonstrates understanding of how people adopt change and how learning, communication, and reinforcement work together Demonstrates strong follow‑through on commitments, timelines, and quality standards Manages multiple learning initiatives simultaneously with consistency REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Communications, or related field 2–4 years of experience in training, learning and development, or instructional design Experience leading/supporting organizational change initiatives Experience facilitating training sessions PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Experience working with subject matter experts to build learning content Familiarity with LMS platforms and eLearning tools Familiarity with change management frameworks (e.g., ADKAR) Exposure to global or multi‑site learning delivery REQUIRED SKILLS Strong facilitation and presentation skills Project management and organization Ability to simplify complex information into clear learning experiences Proficiency to develop training sessions that are engaging, practical, and aligned to business priorities Capability to create learning content that is clear, scalable, and effectively developed in partnership with subject matter experts Strong written and verbal communication skills WHAT'S NEXT, APPLY NOW!
