Job description
What We Offer Location: Charlotte, NC Department: Event Medicine Shifts/Hours: PRN, as needed. Minimum of 3-4 shifts each month. Clean and active driving background. 2-3 years of experience. The Paramedic serves as a member of the healthcare team by establishing an authentic personalized relationship with the patient and their chosen support system, collaborating with other team members to provide care that promotes optimal health. The paramedic utilizes best scientific evidence, protocols, and compassion to assist the care of the patient during their health journey. The Paramedic accepts accountability for provision of care, as part of the RN and physician led team, in accordance with the current policies, protocols and procedures. What We're Looking For Education : High School Diploma or GED, required. Experience : Prefer at least one-year experience with a paid EMS provider at the Paramedic level. Licensure/Certification :North Carolina Paramedic certification (or eligible for reciprocity). BCLS, ACLS, PALS required. ITLS or PHTLS required within 90 days of hire. Current and valid driver's license and must the meet requirements of the Medical Center’s Insurance carrier. Must meet general hospital driving requirements.
