Position Details: Mid-Day to Afternoon / Evening Shift: Hours can vary in range (9:30am-8pm) to (12pm -10:30pm) - Days off during the week will vary depending on the department need 4 Shifts per week @ 10 hour shifts Extra Pay with rotating weekends and holidays Requirements: Associate degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education) Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R) Experience: Lead Tech, Charge Tech, Senior tech, Lead Radiology Technologist, Supervisor, Senior Technologist, Radiology Department Lead, Chief IR Technologist, Radiology Supervisor Vascular Interventional Technologist, Special Procedures Technologist, neurovascular procedures. Memorial Hospital Shiloh , a 94-bed, all-private suite hospital was recognized with Magnet status in 2018 and provides emergency care, labor & delivery, nursery, medical and surgical services plus critical care. The Diagnostic Radiology Department at Memorial Hospital provides diagnostic digital radiographic imaging for our inpatients and outpatients. The radiology department includes a variety of digital and computed radiography, fluoroscopy, and mobile radiography. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose The Radiology Technologist performs general imaging radiographic procedures to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders Responsibilities Prepares patient and equipment for procedures. Informs patient on instructions and what the procedure entails with a high level of customer service and professionalism. Performs radiographic imaging examinations independently, in on-call situations (if applicable), portable exams, and other tasks assigned by the department.
