Job description
As a Public Benefit Corporation, we are working to reinvent the healthcare system from the inside out, and using data to ensure every patient is on an effective drug therapy at a fair market cost. If you are looking to change the healthcare experience and work for a company with a meaningful purpose, great culture, and strong values, you’ve found the right place! This is a wonderful opportunity to get into an exciting and growing industry of healthcare/pharmacy/technology. There is plenty of room to grow and advance with the company. Plus, you get to work with some amazing people and have all the perks of being able to work 100% remote!
The Corporate Staff Accountant will be handling the day-to-day accounting activities and month-end financial reporting requirements while being actively involved in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial processes. The position requires a strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounting functions from both a detailed and big-picture perspective. The Corporate Staff Accountant will be involved in analyzing certain transactions—such as accruals, capitalized software and share-based compensation—to ensure proper journal entries are recorded and taking an active role in monthly close and in preparation of monthly financial statements. The Corporate Staff Accountant will be involved in financial audits and be required to perform financial analyses and other ad hoc projects when necessary.
The ideal candidate will have the right mix of technical accounting, general ledger accounting, financial analysis, and communication skills to enable this person to communicate effectively with functional departments and collaborate with staff at all levels across various functions. We are looking for someone that is an enthusiastic team player with strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Micromanagement is not our style. We are only interested in team members that are reliable and committed. If you are a problem solver, enjoy thinking creatively about new challenges, and are looking for the next challenge, you would love being on this team.
