Position Summary The Senior Planner/Scheduler is responsible for analyzing requirements and developing schedules to ensure the customer receives products on time in the most efficient manner, while meeting delivery and inventory goals. Responsibilities Coordinates the procurement of raw materials including requisitions, ordering, follow-up, inventory management, request for quotation, obsolescence, price variance and rejections/complaints Manages materials to support the production schedules while striving to achieve material inventory goals Assists in scheduling production operations using SAP and other planning tools Communicates information to Operations, material handlers, quality inspection, and warehouse concerning material changes, safety stock levels and material outages Collaborates with Quality, Marketing and other cross-functional teams to facilitate the completion of “Go to Markets” for packaging changes Monitors and improves pull supermarkets through resizing, auditing, and working with suppliers to implement additional items on pull to achieve desired inventory goals while meeting customer needs Resolves material issues, including inventories, shortages, delivery delays and quality issues Initiates and coordinates material cost reduction efforts What we are looking for High School Diploma or equivalent 3+ years of SAP knowledge 5+ years administrative or clerical experience Experience with suppliers, planning and ordering of materials and supplies, and contract administration Strong working knowledge of SAP and demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Lean principles experience What we prefer Associates degree Come join us! Total Rewards Package The salary range for this position is USD $59,000.00/Yr. - USD $76,000.00/Yr. Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
