Job description

The Publishing Producer oversees game publishing projects with a specialized focus on Shooter or Anime-style Gacha games. Your key responsibilities include managing schedules, monitoring milestones, and identifying risks while ensuring seamless execution and clear communication across all stakeholders.

Following the launch, the role transitions into a proactive, hands-on approach to Live Ops and general game operations. You will be expected to dive deep into day-to-day management, stepping in to fill operational gaps and ensuring service stability and excellence. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will provide genre-specific insights to support content updates and key initiatives throughout the game's lifecycle.

[Responsibilities]

  • Bilingual Communication Bridge: Serve as the primary communication channel between global headquarters and local teams, ensuring all project documentation and strategic goals are accurately translated and aligned in both Korean and English.
  • Proactive Live Ops Management: Take a hands-on approach to daily game operations; actively monitor title performance and step in to manage operational tasks directly whenever gaps or emergencies arise to ensure service stability.
  • Data Analysis & Performance Reporting: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and game metrics; prepare detailed reports on project outcomes and live service health to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Ensure effective communication among publishing support teams, game developers, and relevant stakeholders to align project objectives, expectations, and deliverables.
  • Production Coordination: Partner with Production teams to coordinate project schedules, oversee progress, and proactively manage risks across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Progress Tracking: Utilize project management tools to monitor task completion, resource allocation, milestone achievements, and identify potential bottlenecks before they impact delivery.
  • Seamless Execution: Drive timely and scope-compliant project deliveries, maintaining a high standard of quality across all publishing initiatives.
  • Post-Launch & Lifecycle Support: Facilitate and drive post-launch initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions from development to live operations and managing ongoing content updates.
  • Process Standardization: Develop and implement best practices for publishing production, standardizing workflows to enhance efficiency and scalability across various IPs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to refining production goals and policies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in all publishing and operational processes.
