On October 14, 2025, Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.
It is anticipated following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes, and your employment would be governed by Orthopaedics employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. Details of any planned changes would be provided to you by Orthopaedics at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.
Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking a Marketing Manager, Downstream – Spine Biomaterials to join our Spine Global Growth Marketing (GGM) Department located in Raynham, MA.
Reporting to the Sr. Marketing Manager, Downstream –Spine Biomaterials, the role of the Marketing Manager, Downstream - is to drive the commercial execution of the spine business’ global strategy pertaining to Biomaterials. This individual will partner with key stakeholders and lead downstream marketing efforts to drive overall commercial success for the Biomaterials spine portfolio in both the US and globally.
Responsibilities:
Execute commercial strategies for the spine Biomaterials portfolio to achieve business plans: portfolio under management includes synthetic bone graft products. FIBERGRAFT and FIBERGRAFT Aeridyan and any future NPIs
Partner with upstream marketing, R&D, sales, supply chain, professional education, regional partners and others to develop and lead commercial strategies, portfolio management and launch excellence for spine biomaterials across the globe
Support and develop sustainable relationships with Worldwide KOL's, Sales, Marketing, and Regional leadership
Lead surgeon and FSO engagement strategy through the lens of society, study group, research and professional education partnership
Create marketing materials, manage through copy approval process and work with partners to disseminate through multiple channels
Gather feedback from global FSO’s and regional business partners to thoroughly assess spine biomaterials market and provide feedback to upstream marketing, R&D, business development and others to inform our spine strategy
Partner with commercial leaders to develop and drive growth strategies at the surgeon, account, healthcare system, GPO/IDN, etc. level
Develop spine biomaterials portfolio market models and inform demand planning models including revenue, unit, and price forecasting
Deep understanding of the full biomaterials portfolio (Allograft & Synthetic solutions) and competitor landscape
Incorporate DE&I efforts (e.g. Women in Spine) into commercial efforts
Qualifications:
A minimum of a BS/BA degree is required. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
Candidate must have 5+ years total progressive business experience in any of the following areas: Marketing, R&D, Sales.
A minimum of 3 years of healthcare experience or medical device experience is preferred.
Proven strong collaboration skills to effectively partner with regional and global business partners
Digital marketing experience preferred
A strong ability to connect global strategy to commercial execution
Understanding of business processes involved in operating in the medical devices, robotics and/or digital space
Key performance areas include communication skills, product management, analytical skills, successful team player and ability to influence others.
Demonstrated ability to build, test, and gain support for strategies
Proven ability to review data sets and discern trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvements
Creative thinking and strong customer centric problem-solving skills
Strong communication, presentation skills and ability to influence others
Ability to establish and maintain credibility as a knowledgeable business partner
Ability to work within a matrix organization and to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
Should have a track record of career advancement and exceeding expectations
Ability to travel up to 35%

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$102,000.00 - $177,100.00Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
