As a member of the Merchant Acquisition team, you will be responsible for merchant acquiring and onboarding top merchants in Thailand.

The Merchant Acquisition team is now finding teammates to join our young motivated team on this rocket with the target of making life easier for Thais across all regions. Our team operates with an experimental mindset and is willing to deep dive into both opportunities and challenges.

 

Get to Know the Role

We are looking for the Quality Merchant Acquisition Associate who will manage the on-ground acquisition team. This team will make GrabFood gain more strategic partners, new product or special projects adoption, and help the operations team in accelerating the impact. The team will achieve this through analysis and process improvement.

 

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

Acquisition planning and managed teams

• Assisted teamlead in planning and implementing acquiring strategy.
• Managed and supported acquisition team who will be an important player in this team to deliver their tasks and achieve their target.
• Evaluate team performance and identify hiring and training needs.
• Provide performance summary and valuable on-ground insight along with recommendations to core team.

On-ground strategic partner acquisition

• Lead strategic merchant acquisition and onboard to platform.
• On-ground with the team to give them guidance and help uplift their performance.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Sales experience with customer-facing roles at 1+ years.
• People management skills and hardworking in developing people.
• Proficiency in Thai & English.
• Self-motivated, proactive, growth mindset.
• Able to traveling in BKK and other provinces as needed.
