Job description

  • 12 month fixed term contract - Barossa Valley based

As the Training Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of an integrated training strategy in our operational areas across Winery, Bottling and Hospitality sites within Pinnacle Drinks.  

You will collaboratively develop and ensure maintenance of a range of tools including Training Needs Analyses (TNA’s), training matrices, training plans and supporting training and learning management systems. 

Drawing on your expertise, you’ll be delivering policies, procedures and frameworks for Pinnacle Drinks operations, while also supporting and promoting broader Endeavour Group learning and development initiatives.

Here is a taste of what you can expect in this role:

  • Development and delivery of an integrated Training strategy to meet the needs of our Operational areas.
  • Chair of the Training Steering Committee.
  • Collaboration across the group in aligning training programs to meet the needs of the operation.
  • Develop and embed training tools consistently across all businesses.
  • Ensure training compliance is achieved supporting accreditations including Safety, Quality, Sustainability and Environment.
  • Develop robust reporting frameworks to monitor compliance levels, providing regular dashboards to leadership on accreditation status and risk areas. 
  • Ensure all training content and methods remain current.
  • Ownership of a Training record keeping system.
  • Design and delivery of end-to-end L&D initiatives and programs of work in conjunction with Endeavour Group Learning & Development team.
  • Support the promotion and uptake of Endeavour Group training programs in the business.
  • Proactively looking for opportunities to migrate workshop-based content to blended learning and e-learning modules.
  • Evaluate organisational performance to ensure that training is meeting business needs and improving performance.
  • Provide strong leadership, guidance and assistance to Managers when assessing training requirements.
  • Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices.
  • Build a strong and engaging relationship with the team.
  • Escalate noncompliance matters proactively and collaboratively with relevant managers.
  • Drive continuous improvement to support training delivery.
     

Now let’s talk about you: 

  • Proven experience in a Training Manager or L&D role within a manufacturing or similar operational environment; beverage manufacturing will be highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of various training and teaching methods.
  • Sound experience in developing TNA’s, training matrices and plans.
  • Strong written ability and able to confidently communicate with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in database software or Learning Management systems.
  • Minimum Cert IV in Training and Assessment.
