The Opportunity
Are you an inspiring leader with a passion for quality management? As Quality Assurance Manager, you will head a QA department at Power Transformers. You will lead and oversee all quality assurance activities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services that meet company standards, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements. You can look forward to a challenging role at the center of events, where you will be able to influence our future within quality management.
How you’ll make an impact
- Lead and manage a team of quality assurance professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality, analyzing data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and areas for improvement.
- Oversee the inspection, testing, and validation of products, processes, and services throughout the entire lifecycle.
- Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and supply chain, to integrate quality principles into all stages of product development and delivery.
- Manage non-conformance processes, including investigation, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and verification of effectiveness.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, implementing lean methodologies and best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality management systems (QMS) in accordance with ISO standards and other relevant industry regulations.
Your background
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Documented progressive experience in quality assurance and experience from a managerial or leadership role, preferably within a manufacturing or technology environment.
- Strong understanding of quality methodologies and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis).
- Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences in both Swedish and English.
