Mō te tūranga | About the role
Permanent full-time position (Monday to Friday)
As part of our reception team, you will be the first point of contact for our residents, family, and business contacts. Your creativity and enthusiasm will support you in your day-to-day tasks, including:
- Attending to reception duties including telephone calls, and assisting residents and visitors, in a warm, friendly, and professional manner
- Sorting documents, mail & parcels and delivering items to appropriate individuals within the village
- Running our small on-site shop
- Booking hairdresser and beautician appointments
- Maintaining/creating resident database profiles
- Providing services pleasantly and courteously which is respectful of individual privacy, dignity, and personal property
- Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the office

Strength and competence in customer service and administration through experience in a similar role. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Ability to interact & communicate with a variety of people
- Ability to think on their feet and and solve problems
- Compassion and sensitivty
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong experience with Office 365 including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
