The Implementation Specialist plays a key role in delivering a seamless onboarding experience for golf course partners, supporting the successful implementation of GolfNow products and services.

Reporting to the Implementation Manager, this role is responsible for co-ordinating and executing onboarding activities, ensuring clients are successfully set up, trained, and supported throughout the implementation lifecycle. The Implementation Specialist works closely with Sales, Technical Support, and Customer Success teams to deliver a high-quality customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Client Onboarding & Implementation Delivery

  • Support the end-to-end onboarding of new clients, including system setup, configuration, and data migration
  • Co-ordinating the installation of client software and hardware peripherals
  • Translate client requirements into technical specifications to support successful implementation
  • Ensure implementation milestones and timelines are met, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders

Client Relationship Management

  • Act as a key point of contact for clients during onboarding, building strong working relationships
  • Support clients through the onboarding process, helping to resolve issues and escalate where necessary
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and issue resolution

Training & Enablement

  • Assess client training needs and deliver tailored training plans
  • Provide on-site and remote training sessions to ensure successful product adoption
  • Maintain and update training documentation and user guides in line with product evolution

Project Co-ordination & Reporting

  • Track and report on onboarding progress against implementation plans and timelines
  • Maintain accurate records of implementation activities using Salesforce and internal systems
  • Support co-ordination of onboarding projects, ensuring alignment across teams

Process Improvement & Feedback

  • Gather and analyse client feedback to identify opportunities for improving onboarding processes
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer experience
  • Support documentation of best practices and onboarding workflows

Minimum Requirements

  • 2 years’ experience in customer onboarding, implementation, or a client-facing role
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams
  • High energy and engaging personality with patience for all levels of technology users

Desirable Experience

  • Experience with software or technical implementations
  • Experience delivering client training (in-person or remote)
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce
  • Knowledge of the golf industry
  • Degree in a related technical or business field
