Job description
The Retail & inventory control Manager serves as the strategic partner for resort retail operations & is responsible for the maintenance of SKUs, Recipes, and Data Validation. Acting as the liaison between F&B Corporate and Operations. Focusing on product sourcing, financial performance, and data-driven decision-making. This role supports multiple resort retail outlets through collaboration with on-site leadership, providing expertise in merchandising, vendor management, inventory control, and revenue optimization. Retail & inventory control Manager works closely with the F&B Directors, inventory control clerks and property leadership to ensure each retail location aligns with brand standards, enhances the guest experience, and achieves profitability goals through efficient operations and strategic planning and supporting the department's operations by organizing, maintaining, and tracking inventory, including supplies, parts, inventory tools, and equipment.
- Partner with Food & Beverage Directors to provide strategic support for resort retail operations
- Develop and execute retail strategies to drive sales, improve margins, and align with brand standards
- Oversee product sourcing, vendor relationships, and purchasing to ensure quality and cost efficiency
- Analyze sales, inventory, and performance data to identify trends and growth opportunities
- Lead merchandising efforts, including product assortment, pricing, promotions, and visual presentation
- Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Operations, and IT to align retail and inventory initiatives
- Manage inventory systems, reporting, and processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely updates
- Streamline operations, develop SOPs, support training, and drive efficiency across all resort locations

- 10+ years of progressive experience in retail management or merchandising, preferably within a resort, hospitality, or multi-unit retail environment, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning and achieving measurable business outcomes.
- Make decisions based on your own judgment and company policy.
- Follow instructions without close supervision.
- Occasional carrying and lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
