BIM Designer - Electrical Engineering

Your Key Responsibilities 

• We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Electrical Engineer who wants to work closely with Norwegian project teams and contribute to a variety of exciting Norwegian infrastructure projects 
• Model setup including definitions of ducts and trench sections 
• Modelling of cable ducts and above-ground electrical installations (including DWG imports) 
• Setup of export rules and parameters in accordance with project standards 
• Coordination with other disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery 
• Participation in BIM coordination meetings 
• Use of Trimble Connect (or similar platforms) for model sharing and collaboration 
• Ensure quality and timely delivery in accordance with Norwegian standards and project requirements 

We Expect That You Have 

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Electrical Engineering is mandatory 
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, tunnels, or underground ducting projects) 
• Hands-on experience in BIM modelling for electrical/infrastructure systems 
• Strong proficiency in tools like Revit and/or Novapoint 
• Good command of English with effective communication skills 
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in modelling and documentation 
• Ability to work independently in a digital and geographically distributed environment 
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate in international teams 

We Appreciate If You Have 

• Experience working on Norwegian or other European/Nordic projects 
• Familiarity with Scandinavian standards (considered an advantage but can be learned)
