VDOT’s Fredericksburg District is seeking dedicated Maintenance Operators to support our Fredericksburg Residency, serving Stafford, Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, and Caroline counties. This position plays a critical role in maintaining safe, reliable roadways and supporting daily and emergency transportation operations. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, operating equipment, working as part of a team, and serving the public by keeping Virginia’s roads safe and functional year-round. Several positions may be filled from this posting, and work locations may vary among area headquarters within the Fredericksburg Residency.
