Job description

Job Title: IT Business Analyst - Logistics & DTC Operations

Location: Hyderabad, India

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Business Analyst to oversee the successful business analysis work for the Logistics and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Order Management System (OMS) implementations, preferably with experience in Blue Yonder (BY) WMS and IBM Distributed Order Management (DOM) platforms.

This role will be responsible for partnering closely with our business partners to gather requirements and use cases, author user stories with acceptance criteria, document integration mappings, testing, defect triage and resolution, and go-live and hypercare support.

The candidate must be willing to work on site 4 days a week in Hyderabad, during US EST time zone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the business analysis for IT solutions for Logistics and DTC functions globally.
  • Gather and document functional and technical requirements and user stories for WMS and OMS implementations, enhancements, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with business teams, solution architects, vendors, and internal IT teams in requirement gathering, design, development, testing, go-live, and hypercare project phases.
  • Provide technical and functional leadership on platforms such as Blue Yonder WMS and IBM DOM.
  • Ensure successful system integrations with e-commerce platforms, transportation management systems, and global logistics partners.
  • Support hypercare and production operations, ensuring system stability and timely issue resolution.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including requirements, test plans, deployment guides, and training materials.
  • Stay current with emerging logistics technologies and industry best practices.

 

Communication: Facilitate effective communication between offshore and onshore teams, ensuring requirements and use cases are understood.

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of IT Business Analyst or IT Product Owner experience with at least 3 years in logistics or supply chain technology roles.
  • 3+ years working in Agile sAFE delivery methodology with JIRA
  • Agile sAFE Product Owner and/oor Product Manager certification (preferred)
  • Proven experience in functional and technical user story creation and interface mapping
  • Proven experience in authoring detailed acceptance criteria associated with functional and technical user stories.
  • Proven experience in implementing and supporting WMS and OMS solutions in complex environments.
  • Solid understanding of warehouse operations, DTC fulfillment, and global logistics processes.
  • Experience working with Blue Yonder (BY) WMS and IBM DOM (preferred), and Oracle ERP (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of system integrations, APIs, middleware, and data mapping.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
